Phillies' Colvin is arrested

It is reported that Phillies' prospect Brody Colvin was arrested on three misdemeanor charges in his hometown on Saturday night.According to a spokesman for the Lafayette County Sheriff's Office, Colvin was charged with disturbing the peace, simple battery and resisting an officer in Jefferson Street at 2:20 a.m. ET Sunday morning. Colvin was released without bail on Sunday and is scheduled to appear in Lafayette City Court on the morning of April 1.

Colvin made one appearance for the Phillies' Gulf Coast League team last summer and was then sent to the Instructional League.
