It is reported on Wednesday Vancouver Canucks goalie Roberto Luongo is injured. The paper did not report detail information about the nature of the injury or how many games Luongo could miss. TSN reports Luongo suffered a hairline fracture to his ribs.
"Luongo took treatment following a 5-4 loss to the Detroit Red Wings Tuesday at GM Place and could have hurt his right shoulder in the third period," the newspaper reported. Luongo missed 24 games last season with a groin strain, but rallied to lead the Canucks to a Northwest Division championship and a second-round playoff experience. When will Luongo return to the game in his beloved canucks jersey?
